2. Avoid nutrient deficient foods, like many processed foods. Avoid dangerous foods: meat, dairy and eggs.<br />
3. Exercise regularly, preferably an hour a day.</p>
<p>Counting calories is a tried and true method for weight loss. But in order to stay healthy, those calories should come from healthy, whole foods. And in order for your heart and lungs to stay healthy and your body to look toned, you need to exercise, too.</p>
<p>I know this from experience and research. I recommend reading:<br />

- Eat More, Weigh Less<br />
- Fit or Fat</p>
<p>And no, I&#8217;m not perfect. I don&#8217;t exercise enough and I still eat too many processed foods. But I am a healthy weight and I haven&#8217;t got heart disease, diabetes, or cancer. I am a vegan.</p>

— 1 Young Coconut (coconut water)<br />
— Tomatoes, roughly chopped<br />
— Carrots, roughly chopped (fresh from the garden if possible&#8230;including the green carrot tops!)<br />
— Peas, shelled<br />
— Fresh Wild Lamb&#8217;s Quarters Herbs, with leaves torn off of stems<br />
— Bok Choy Flowers (if you have your garden, you can get these)<br />
— 1 Lime<br />
— Broccoli Florets<br />
— Lettuce<br />
— Red Chard, with leaves torn off of stems<br />
— Kale, with leaves torn off of stems<br />
— Collard Greens, with leaves torn off of stems<br />
— Yellow Zucchini (or green, if yellow is not available), chopped into rounds</p>
<p>* P r e p a r a t i o n *<br />
— 1) Open the young coconut—refer to this video if you need help: http://bit.ly/u9Q4j —and pour its water into your Vita-Mix, or other high-powered blender of your choice. http://bit.ly/GZsuq or http://bit.ly/3OTXD9</p>
<p>— 2) Add chopped tomatoes &amp; carrots, along with the green carrot tops if you were lucky enough to get your carrots fresh from your garden, followed by the shelled peas, the leaves of the wild lambs quarters and the bok choy flowers, if you were able to get some from your garden.</p>
<p>— 3) Using a manual citrus juicer, a citrus hand juicer, or just your hands, squeeze the juice of one lime over the top.  As your blender probably has no more room to add the rest of your ingredients, lightly blend for a few seconds to make some room on top for the rest.</p>
<p>— 4) Once you&#8217;ve made some room, add the broccoli florets, followed by all your leafy greens: lettuce, chard, kale &amp; collard greens (make sure that you first tore of all the leaves from the thick stems&#8230;you can either add the stems to your compost, run them through your garbage disposal, or throw them away)</p>
<p>— 5) Blend everything up in your Vita-Mix, but not too much, as you&#8217;ll want to leave some texture behind.  Then, transfer the soup to individual soup bowls.</p>
<p>— 6) Take the chopped zucchini rounds and place around the inside of all the soup bowls and/or you can serve them on the side.</p>
<p>— 7) Serve&#8230;and enjoy!</p>

— 1 Tomato, chopped<br />
— 1 bunch of fresh Oregano, take leaves off of stems by hand<br />
— 1 bunch of fresh Thyme, take leaves off of stems by hand<br />
— 2 cloves of Garlic, peeled &amp; lightly chopped<br />
— 1 head of Romaine Lettuce<br />
— 1 head of Red Leaf Lettuce<br />
— 1 Cucumber<br />
— 2 bunches of Cilantro<br />
— 1 yellow Zucchini<br />
— 1 pint of Alfalfa Sprouts<br />
— 1-2 pints of Cherry Tomatoes<br />
— 2 Nectarines<br />
— 1 Hot Pepper (if desired)<br />
— 1 Avocado (if desired)</p>
<p>* P r e p *</p>
<p>— 1) To make the dressing, blend lime juice, tomato, oregano, thyme &amp; garlic until desired consistency is reached in your Vita-Mix or other high-powered blender of your choice http://BLENDER.life-regenerator.com</p>
<p>— 2) Chop romaine lettuce &amp; red leaf lettuce as desired for salad, and place in large serving bowl</p>
<p>— 3) Chop cucumber, cilantro &amp; zucchini and place over lettuce</p>
<p>— 4) Next, add sprouts over the top, followed by the cherry tomatoes, then the nectarines</p>
<p>— 5) If desired, you may also add the hot pepper, avocado and/or any other ingredients of your choice</p>
<p>— 6) Drizzle salad dressing over salad or keep on the side, and serve!</p>
