Oh, By The Way, I Am 14yrs old, i will be 15 in june, and i weigh 139lbs in the morning.before eating…i dont weigh myself any other time..And I am 5ft 3inches.
How much should my calorie intake be?
What should my meals be like? i try to eat 6small meals instead of 3 normal size..but idk..totally if im doin it good..and its hard..sometimes..=/!

Well, if you’re trying to lose weight calorie counting is obviously the best way to go. Since you are 14 and still growing, 2000 calories a day is a good way to lose weight and it will keep you satisfied too. This may seem like quite a lot of calories but it really isn’t, the average american eats over 3,000 a day! So you really need to be careful.
You can eat 2000 cals of pure crap and still lose weight, but you won’t feel full or satisfied. So you should cut most of the junk from your life and find healthy, yummy alternatives- like raw walnuts, peanut butter, apples, and yogurt (plain yogurt with honey is delish!).
I actually do have a little weight loss success story. After the previous summer like 6 months ago, I had gained 8 pounds. I was so upset because I couldn’t fit into my clothes and my ankles were swollen and I didn’t look healthy at all! So as soon as I realized, I quite eating junk and I ate healthy alternatives like bananas and peanut butter and raw almonds (which I lived on!). I ate about 1500 cals. After about 2 weeks the entire 8 pounds just melted off of me and I felt fantastic!
P.S Drink a lot of water! Studies show that water helps you lose weight and prevent weight gain because the liver can focus on removing fat.

Trust me I hate to tell you this bc your young, but weight is something I’ve always felt so self concious about I went from 150lb to 115lbs in 1 month w/ here goes phentermine…. its sooooo bad for you but it works I used it for 1 month lost all the weight and never looked back. I dont take it anymore I now do the 6 small meals a day and work out 4 days a week trick but it worked to lose all the weight at once. But keeping it off will take work. I used a combination of phentermine 37.5mg and chromium 200mg for 30days. I don’t recommend it bc your young but maybe when your 18

I did see a weight lose Dr. I didn’t get it illegally online. it was prescribed to me, by a no tell Dr. out of some suite weird but true story.

calorie counting is good because it takes the quess work out of whether you are eating too much or not enough. the downside is that you have to get use to be hungry all the time.
you should eat 1500cals a day for a week. check your weight and if you didn’t lose any weight then reduce it to 1300cals for a week.
just eat something at least semi healthy about every 3hrs for a total of 4 or 5 or 6 meals a day and make it about 200 to 400cals per meal til you reach your calorie limit.
i lost 33lbs. counting calories but i was hungry each and every day and just got use to it.btw. my diet wasn’t low fat. it was just normal food for a total of an average of 1400cals a day.
