I weight 224lbs. I wan’t to gain muscle and lose fat. Is it a good idea to go on a fat burning diet first ?
before i go on a high calorie, high protein diet? And I’ve read that you must have equal amount of protein in your body to gain muscle mass.In my case, i need 224 grams a day. Do i still need to consume that amount of protein a day even if i do decide to do the fat burning diet first?
age 25
height 6’1′

I want to lose belly weight & gain muscle. should i lose "fat weight" before bulking up or after bulking up
It is impossible to lose weight and build muscle at the same time b/c to lose weight you have to be in a caloric deficit and to build muscle you have to be in a caloric surplus. I would suggest losing weight first and not worrying about protein intake and then when you have eliminated your body fat, up the protein content to 1 gram per pound of LEAN body mass (what you would weigh if you had no fat).
