Yes I did. I lost 20kg over about 12 months by following a sensible diet and regular exercise, both weights and cardio. My resting heart rate improved from doing the cardio but the blood pressure remains unaffected.
I’ve even done various tests (24 hour urine tests are common for investigating hypertension) but doctors were unable to find a definite cause. The term for this is “essential hypertension”.

If only it were that simple. I can guarantee you there is nothing I didn’t try to naturally reduce my blood pressure, and I tried for a long time. People like you had me convinced I could do this. Then, as soon as I tried to wean off my tablets, up went my BP dangerously.
I spent a lot of money on alternative doctors, etc., to eventually figure out that, really, there was no answer. Hypertension is common in my family.
I have resigned myself to a life on BP medication.
And that’s the truth.
