Is chamomile Tea good to lower blood pressure?

just wondering if chamomile tea good for lowering blood pressure along with the essientials which are excersise, dieting and no salt..or is there a better tea?

You’ve got a really important question there. Controlling, normalizing blood pressure, to less than 120/80 is really important for long term health. I recommend you look into something called the DASH diet, it really works. Biofeedback devices like the MWave work well also. But some people really need prescription meds, so if your Blood Pressure is high, don’t delay.

About Chamomile tea: it is an excellent herbal medicine. It primarily works to improve digestion, decrease stomach cramping, and to calm anxiety. I recommend it to my patients a lot. But not as a remedy for blood pressure. I have a whole page on Chamomile Tea on my website, check it out.

I only know of chamomile’s health benefits to be as follows:

Chamomile can be used topically or orally to treat a number of everyday ailments, such as:

    Insomnia and other sleep disorders
    Anxiety and Panic Attacks
    Muscle twitches
    Wounds, burns, and scrapes
Skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, chickenpox, and diaper rash
Stomach problems such as menstrual cramps, stomach flu, and ulcers

Before using herbal supplements or natural herbs for high blood pressure treatment, it is vital to seek out professional help and get a full diagnosis of hypertension. Remember, if you experience an increase in the severity of your symptoms at any time you must immediately seek emergency medical care. Keeping this warning in mind; herbs for high blood pressure relief can be used with success as part of an overall lifestyle assessment.

Today, combinations of natural treatment to relieve high blood pressure symptoms will almost certainly contain the herb hawthorn, magnesium, coenzyme Q-10 and vitamin E. Lifestyle, including diet, alcohol and stress should form a major part of addressing Hypertension; taking time out to look at what factors are adding to your condition should be a priority for anyone diagnosed with this ailment.

To much chamomile tea isn’t good for you and it doesn’t lower bloodpressure at all.
But Garlic,Ginger,Hawthorn and Blackcurrant does.Give it a try but speak to a Herbalist first.
