How long does exercise and diet take to lower blood pressure and heart rate?
Im 24 yrs and about 20 lbs over weight my blood pressure was 138/87 and im scared to death of having heart problems my heart is like always beating fast 108+ per minute What workouts are go to lower blood pressure?
I’ve heard you can achieve significant results in as little as 2 weeks. In my opinion, stress is the #1 killer in this world, so in addition to exercise, just keep the right attitude. Life is short, and there will be bumps in the road.. it took me until nearly 40 to just calm down & not get so charged or anxious about things. That will also significantly lower your blood pressure, btw (is why I mention).

Diet Vs Exercise – How Do You Really Lose Weight?
Exercise alone may burn off the calories, but it will never burn off a bad diet! Adopting a healthy and nutritious diet will assist in fat loss while exercise helps to reshape your body. Now this doesn’t mean that a diet alone will bring you to your desired goal, but it does mean that in order to realize your dream of a lean trim body, you MUST begin to eat more healthy and wisely.
Losing weight is all about calorie deduction. But if you want that body to look tone and you want more health benefits, you definitely have to do strength training. Exercise can be a great way to motivate oneself to persevere in eating a healthy diet, if only because exercise really drives home how much energy and time it takes to work off calories. Somehow, a 900 calorie burger just isn’t worth it when you’ve just spent 30 minutes working yourself to the point of exhaustion and beyond, just to burn a little over 300 calories. Also, exercise has a host of health benefits.
A pound of fat represents approximately 3500 calories of stored energy. In order to lose a pound of fat, you have to burn 3500 more calories than you consume.Let’s say you want to lose two pounds per week, first you would need to figure out how many calories a person of your age, sex, and weight usually needs in a day, subtract 500 from that amount, then follow a diet that provides you with that many calories. For example, if you would ordinarily need 3000 calories in a day, you would follow a 2500 calorie per day diet. Then you figure out how much exercise a person of your weight would need to do to burn 500 calories per day
Ideally, people would make both changes–increase their activity, increase the quality of their food, and decrease their calories.Making better food choices is an effective way to lose weight and keep it off, and once one’s diet is under control, adding exercise is a good next step.
