Eating garlic to lower blood pressure?
My pulse is really high (like 102/per minute) so I’ve been starting to exercise regularly and changing my diet by cutting out salty foods….but I’ve been adding more garlic to my food. The thing is, I don’t want to take garlic pills, but I want to eat actual garlic to help me lower my blood pressure. So how much garlic should I eat for it to have a significance? Please help.
A couple of larger cloves every day. And it is very smart to eat actual garlic rather then pills, as pills on their own are not comparable to garlic in their potency and activity.

Garlic is a good remedy for reducing your blood pressure. You can have even a whole bulb of garlic a day if you like. A word of caution though here. Listen to your body very carefully. If you feel pressure in the back of your head, most probably your blood pressure got too low. That is the time to check it. Did you know, that Mistletoe tea or extract actually balancing blood pressure? If it is too high it will bring it down, if it is too low it will elevate it to the wright level.
This is from personal experience.

You don’t really have to eat garlic to lower your blood pressure. You’re already doing fine by exercising regularly and cutting out salty food from your diet. Cut back on fatty and high cholesterol food too and increase intake of fruits and vegetables. Stop smoking too and reduce your alcohol intake.
Final note: Are you sure you have high blood pressure? You never stated in your question what your blood pressure readings are. You just said that you have a fast pulse. However, having a fast heart rate will not necessarily mean your blood pressure is high. If you have a BP measuring apparatus at home, take a measurement while at rest. If it’s equal to or higher than 140/90, then you might have high blood pressure and you will need to see a doctor.
Good luck.
